Team Biography

The Amigos were founded in 2017 by a group of Austin ultimate players looking for highly competitive ultimate. In our first showing at nationals, we were initially seeded 27th and were told the highest we could get was 17th. We didn’t like that too much, so we played with a chip on our shoulder the entire tournament. We ended up going 7-0 and winning a D-II National Championship, effectively showing everyone that we were not a team to be overlooked. This year, we hope to back up last year’s showing with even better ultimate, and aim to solidify our place in YCC.
