Team Biography

Massachusetts has a rich history in youth ultimate, and BUDA is thrilled to continue that tradition by sending teams to four divisions of the 2019 U.S. Open Club Championships: U-17 girls, U-17 boys, U-20 girls and U-20 boys. Players from all four teams have spent the last year playing with and against each other in various youth leagues across Massachusetts. The caliber of the BUDA players is high – evidenced by previous YCC Championships and finals appearances, as well as several players who are nationally and internationally competitive – but the teams also emphasize camaraderie, giving back to the community and Spirit of the Game. BUDA’s coaches, chaperones and team leaders are all very proud of the young adults coming out of the program, and the whole BUDA family is looking forward to a fantastic YCC experience in 2019!
