In the immortal words of Daniel Landesman:

“Two people met on a train, and they started talking. They saw this powerline go by, connecting electricity and stuff you know, like powerlines do, and they were like, ‘Woah, that’s cool; that’s a powerline.’  ‘Oh my god, that’s a good name for a team, like a sports team!’ And the next day they meet this person that plays ultimate and they get introduced. They play and they create this team called Powerline and it grows and grows and yeah…”
