Swing Vote is proud to return again to YCCs! We look forward to another competitive year filled with spirited play where we vie for the title. Now some fun facts about D.C.: Two different presidents kept alligators at the White House. There are 19 different Smithsonian museums (and the National Zoo). We average more rainfall per year than Seattle. You are legally obligated to stand on the right side of the escalator and move on the left side going to and from the Metro. The Statue of Freedom sits atop the U.S. Capitol Rotunda and weighs 15,000 lbs. Lastly, despite an overwhelming majority of residents supporting statehood, having more people than two states and paying federal taxes, D.C. residents are denied voting representation in Congress.
